Timetable

• The New Entrant class programme offers a bridge between the young students' pre-school experience and the start of their primary schooling.
• Each day, throughout the Junior School, we cover the core curriculum areas – Reading, Writing and Maths.
• During the year we ensure coverage of the curriculum areas of Oral & Visual Language, Maori, Handwriting, The Arts (Music, Dance, Drama, Visual Art) and Integrated Studies (Science, Social Studies, Technology) and Computer Skills.
• The Skills for Growing Health Resource is used along with programmes based on Virtues and Habits of Mind.
• There are swimming lessons in Term 1 and a full Physical Education programme is followed in Terms 2, 3 and 4 in line with the curriculum.
• The Library and IT Suite is visited weekly when the students have the opportunity to borrow books to take home for the week and are able to participate fully in IT activities.
