Who are we?: We are a Decile 8 school (where 10 is in the most affluent areas) and have approximately 400 students. Our ethnic make-up is very diverse. We are exceptionally multi-cultural, with children from Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South Africa etc. We have specialist programmes in music and physical education. Our specialist library and information centre allows us to provide exceptional programmes in graphic design and information studies. Howick is an older established area of Auckland and was originally the site of a Fencible Settlement. Its connection to Auckland used to be mostly by ship - hence the ship in our logo.
