Our HPS Montessori Academy was opened in 2003 and is very proud of its strong reputation and commitment to the philosophy of Maria Montessori.
The Montessori @ Howick Primary is a member of Montessori Aotearoa New Zealand (MANZ) which signifies our commitment to professional excellence and to promoting Montessori within New Zealand.
Montessori education at Howick Primary School is provided within the framework of the New Zealand National Curriculum and in addition our Montessori students participate in school wide cultural, social, sporting and arts programmes. Our experienced teacher, specialised learning materials and community focused school make Montessori @ Howick Primary an exceptional school to attend.
Montessori @ Howick Primary welcomes applications from children attending a Montessori pre school in New Zealand or overseas. It is important to place your child’s name on the waiting list as early as possible by completing the Howick Primary Montessori Expression of Interest form.
Once you are on the waiting list we will send you a copy of our information and enrolment booklet as well as keep in contact with you via email. This means you will be included in newsletters and invitations to family and educational events.
